How blessed were me and my siblings to have had such a wonderful Uncle who was the epitome of a man who loved not only his beautiful wife and 11 children but had and made the space for my family as welll as for all of my cousins. I have some early memories of him coming from Jersey City to Nutley in his blue wagon Volkswagen to bring us to their home and in later years when they moved to Howell, and after a long hot day of working construction outside he would come and get us and bring us down for sometimes what would be weeks in the summer. I can remember Saturday mornings waking up to the smell of bacon and eggs and pancakes that he would make for all of us! He opened his heart and his home to us and gave his love unconditionally. It was an honor and privilege to call him Uncle and nothing made me happier than to make him my Italian Anise cookies and although he may not have had any favorites, I would like to believe my cookies made me a little extra special to him! We will love and miss you my great uncle, rest easy and until we meet again, may you rest in peace! Love, BettyAnn

I was blessed to know Mr. D (Dad) since 3rd grade after meeting my best friend Dan and have 100s of great memories with him and all the DiPasquale's. You could not find a better mentor, leader, father figure, role model and friend to anyone across the world. Truly a Gentle Giant.

Dad gave us all the tough love we needed to be successful as young boys and so glad that he did. He instilled exceptional core values in all of us. One memory I remember well was the time I walked in his house with a hat on my head...all he had to do was look at me and that hat was off in seconds. :) Lots of laughs and fun times. 

I was so blessed to have the opportunity to visit over the recent years to see him and have lunch together with Mrs. D (Mom) when I could. Very glad that I did. I learned so much about his military time in the Navy every time.  He was a big fan of my coffee bringing him a smile....RIP Dad as you were the Father to 100s of boys who became Men because of your love. 

I was lucky enough to live down the street from the DiPasquales throughout my childhood. Although there were 11 kids in their own family, Mr. and Mrs. D always made each and every one of us neighborhood friends feel like one of their own. I will always treasure the countless hours around the table over a cup of tea late at night (after coming home from the headliner) or in the later years over a glass of wine and some pizza. Mr. D always sat at the head of that table-the gentle, quiet father figure with the big smile and twinkling eyes. He would chuckle at our stories, and shake his head at our banter, and you just felt loved. Thank you for the wonderful memories, Mr. D. They will always be some of the best memories of my life. I will miss you so much, but take comfort in knowing that you are at peace. Love you…❤️

Mr. D was a man admired by all. Kind, generous and unselfish are a few words that come to mind when I think of him. He was strong, well respected by the community and his peers. He will be missed, say hello to my dad Mr D. xxxooo

Strong and silent. Always quick with a smile .
He always welcomed us into his home, but would look in disbelief when my brothers came for Sunday breakfast (how much could these kids eat?).
I will always think of you and "Aunt Kitty" when I pass the DiPasquale Estate or remember our holiday get-togethers. God bless. Safe journey.

Mr. D
Thank you- For being the kind of man who raised a family I am still proud to be a part of. Not as a relative but then that never really mattered to you and Mrs. D. If we were lucky enough to be friends with one or more of your kids, we would be part of your family.

Thank you- For the countless hours over many years spent either in the front room with you or with you and Mrs. D in the dining room discussing everything over more cups of coffee than I can count.

Thank you- For always opening your door and shaking my hand and telling me how glad you were to see me. For your guidance and example of how to be a man, a husband, and a father.

Thank you- For the last time I saw you. You were facing challenges to say the least but on my last day and my last visit before heading home, you were able to give me a few minutes of recognition and acknowledgement. It’s almost like you knew how much it would mean to me. I will remember you forever.
