My word is Epicurious. Every year at the family hootenanny, the siblings would get together and go out to dinner. Cherrie and I would spend the evening cooking for the hootenanny and drinking wine (emphasis on drinking wine). Epicurious is word play-Epicurean (seeker of luxuries, especially in food and comfort) and Curious. We shared a love of food and wine. I already miss those times.

At my mother's request, her dear friend Beth Regula hand-painted beautiful rocks as a memorial. My mother did not want to have a burial site where people would come to mourn her. She requested that friends write one word on the rock and use that to remember her spirit and her impact on their lives. I wanted to ask her friends and family to post here the word they chose here. Thank you!

I chose the word "Life". My mother gave me life, nurtured me my whole life, and inspired so much in me and how I created my own life. She also was so full of life herself. She always knew how to live it up and enjoy herself. She was vivacious and a life-long learner of art, literature and spirituality. My rock picture is posted in the "Gallery". Thank you again Beth Regula!

Cherrie was my spiritual mentor and dear friend. We laughed and cried together many times over our 25 year friendship. Our love of the arts always kept us busy going to art openings, concerts and the theatre. Cherrie was a beautiful soul and I know wherever she is she is smiling and having a glass of champagne. See you on the other side my friend.

My favorite memory of this lovely multi-talented Lady is our "Cousins Night Out" when we went to Fat Willie's Fish Camp in Brandon, FL and drank wine, ate fried gator tail and giggled like school girls...good times....good memories of happier days.

Cherrie, my beloved cousin, I cherish the memories of our good times together. Throughout the years, we managed to visit one another and maintain contact, though our homes have been far away. You will always be a shining star in my heart and mind. I have faith that we will experience life again together in the hereafter.

Funny, while it's been a very long time since TLJWC, I think of you with a smile when I drive through your Carrollwood neighborhood. Hopefully, with your guidance, we made a difference with the community service work we did in Juniors.

Cherrie, I so enjoyed knowing you and our times together in Book Club and dinners out. You will be so missed by all those who loved you, but I know you are no longer in pain and are at peace.

Cherrie was a very dear friend too me. I miss our times together which was too short. The fun we had visiting the Chapman Culture Center,
SLT Plays, Art Shows, Book signings and just sitting on your patio enjoying our conversations about everything. I MISS YOU FRIEND.

Cherrie, you made a difference in so many lives. Your love of life and the passion that you put into everything you did was contagious. To be around you was always inspiring. It was just too short. I will treasure our long telephone conversations, when we talked about everything- family, art, gardening, love, disappointments, and the "Spiritual Path" that we all are on. I'll miss you.
