This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Cheryl Tunnell-Springfield, 21 years old, born on September 9, 1959, and passed away on December 25, 1980. We will remember her forever.
The years have passed but memories are forever. My fond memories of Cheryl or (Sissy as I always knew her) were when me and her sister Jan would spend the night on a weekend. Sissy was a little younger and always wanted to join in to what we were doing. The memories I have was Jan was always one who fell to sleep early, I would still be up and would visit with Sissy in her room, I can still see the ruffled blue bedspread, Jan had a purple one. Sissy was crazy about the Jackson Five and we would sit and listen to Michael Jackson who was probably about 13 at the time singing such songs as "Red Red Robin". Fun times as young girls we all had. She had a sweet disposition and a lot of love to give, forever in my heart as such a sweet young girl. Love you Sissy!
