The exit of all honest and truthful daddy, at a virtue is held with blazing joy, joy because he is surely resting in the bossom of the lord. Though my heart is laden with sorrow and I believe that vacuum has been created in my heart and those who knew him due to his warmth and unassuming generosity. A being like you will be missed forever. May ur soul rest in peace

TRIBUTE TO MY BOSS

You might not be alive in human body but we know that you are alive spiritually. God will give and God will take, we are certain God decided to take you to heaven with a reason reserved to HIM.
You are certainly in a peaceful place with no pains, but we will miss the love and care you shared to us. Your Death came as a shock to us and as you sit in the arms of the Lord, your family and friends mourn your death. It’s all right as each of us have the Lord beside us as we say our farewells. You meriteriously retired from the police force as an Assistant Commissioner of police and was also a champion of Nigerian Police lawn tennis where you won too many medals, while in Lagos as a police officer you brought all Ikembara people together, spending very heavily from your pocket for Ikembara to be one. Your body might be gone from this world but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Today we will mourn you in our own way as we pay a tribute to you.
We still wake up every morning hoping this is a dream, and it hurts knowing you are gone forever. With a very heavy heart, I say ADIEU!
From Chief Barnabas Nwanyanwu Enyioha1 of Ikembara autonomous community and police officer retired.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
A VERY WONDERFUL DAD!
What can I say to someone who has always been
One of the most essential part of my world,
Someone who took me by the hand when I was little and helped to show the way.
What do I say to someone who stood by to help me grow
providing love, strength and support
so I could become the person I am today.
What can I say to let him know that he's the best there is
and that I hope I've inherited some of his
wisdom and his strength.
What words would I say if I ever got the chance to see him again?
There are so many things I wish I had said and done
But sadly can no longer do now that you're gone, Dad
But I want you to know that though you're out of sight,
You'll always be in my heart. I want you to know that I'll always cherish you, I'll always love you and always remember you.
You are too precious to be forgotten, too priceless to be ever replaced. You were one in a million, a 'once in a lifetime' man and you will always be. None can be like you who helped alot of people, a very selfless Man filled with compassion and kindness. A man filled with human sympathy and very humble.
The precious and unique Dad I cared for so dearly
Forever will you live on Dad, in my heart and mind..
Forever will you live in my thoughts and never die.
And until that day, when we shall meet again
I'll continue to cherish all my memories of you.
Those special memories of you Dad, will always bring a smile to me.
You always meant so very much to me and always will do too
The fact that you're no longer here, will always bring me pain.
You're forever in my heart, Sweet Dad.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life, I loved you dearly
In death, I love you still.
In my heart, you hold a place that no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you, because you didnt go alone,
for a part of me went with you the day God took you home.
GO WELL DADDY!!
GO WEll MY LIFE COACH!!!
GO WELL OMERUOHA 1 OF IKEMBARA..
Love you always, Dad.

Dee Chris was a good man. A man with the heart of gold. Never harboured or conceived evil for anybody.
He lived for all.
He was a son to the childless and a source of hope and inspiration to the hopeless. A brother to all.
He was not a perfect human, as none can claim that quality, but he did all the bests he could to ensure happiness for all.
His house and office was a "Mini National Assembly ".
Many passed through him ,irrespective of religion, tribe or tongue."
As a boy growing up in Abakaliki, the name Addidas was highly celebrated during soccer tournaments. A heavy attacker and mighty defender. I never came close to knowing him personally way back in Abakaliki, but my Senior brother and Senior cousins knew him. They were comteporaries at High school in Abakaliki at the end of the Civil war.
However, good fortune connected us at Kam Selem House Lagos, where he served as the P.A to DIG. Training and I was little, a small boy . A boy Police serving as Orderly to the Force Marine Officer, NPF.
From that point he adopted me as a brother, son and close confidant and Lolo Helen Duru, his angelic wife never reneged in her duties as a loving and caring mother.
So many of us passed through Dee Chris but as nature has it,not many are still with the family till date.
However, Jesus thought us to bear all things as the only one that came to show appreciation was a Samaritan.
I'm going this far as nothing will be too much to honour a man and appreciate a family that appreciated us when not many could have discovered us. A man that gave us love, hope, confidence and direction.

Adieu Dee Chris.
May God pardon any of your short comings and grant you a most befitting home in Paradise.
"I was hungry, you gave me food.
Sick you took care of me.
In trouble ,you gave me hope.
In prison, you visited me."
Lord ,when did I do this for you, and He says, as You did for these little ones, so you did unto me.

Dee Chris, You demonstrated practical and active Christian Values. You were a practical Christian. Adieu, Chief Chris Duru.
