Chief Dr S O Akpotu is one of the great men in Isoko and Delta State I grew up to know, he is a leader a man of great honor, his carriage and wisdom is one thing I cherish most, men like him in his generation were few, his imprint in Isoko land cannot be erase....his death is a great lost of a hero, a leader and an icon. May his soul rest in peace.

Our very Dear Father Chief S.O Akpotu, words are not enough to describe who you were to many. You were and are an example of determination, resilient, purpose driven, visionary, a leader per excellent and faith driven. I still remember when i was young and in Olomoro attending same church with you. You never fail to attend church services every Sunday. You use the God given resources with you to do the work of God and help people around you. A super intelligent person with a strong oratory power, cool, calm, and collected. You were a father to all. The shoes you left behind will be difficult to fill. May God comfort your immediate family, Olomoro Community, Isoko nation and Delta state at large. May your soul rest in peace.
