I didn't know Chris but he was constantly in my thoughts whilst he was missing, desperately hoping for his safe return, as a parent of children of a similar age i cannot begin to imagine the grief his family are experiencing- God bless to you all. Rest in peace Chris x.

I was at the concert on Friday night, and I wish to God I had met Chris there and as a parent could have helped bring him home safe to his family. It wasn't to be but now I share your grief. Chris will never be forgotten, and his legacy was to bring people together, hopefully we can build on that togetherness for the safety of all young people in the future.

Chris, when I heard about you going missing I thought we would find you or you would come home, but it wasn't to be. My heart broke when they found you. I was with friends on Facebook searching and desperately trying to help spread the word to find you. I have a daughter the same age as you, and it hit home to me just how vulnerable all our kids are no matter what age they are.
