Christine Mackey was born March 21, 1921 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Pearlie Lee Stiggers and Gene Bonner. She was known to her children as “Madear”, to her grandchildren as “Ma-Ma” and to other friends and relatives as “Christine”. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
