ForeverMissed

Christopher Austin Jambor was born on November 26, 2004 in Camden, NJ. His spirit moved on to the next phase of life on April 9 due to a tragic accident.

Christopher lived in Pittsgrove Twp., Salem County, NJ and attended Arthur P. Schalick High School. He was in his Junior year.

Chris played on the Schalick Cougars football and tennis teams. Last week he was quite proud to have earned the #1 singles spot in a hard fought match.

Chris had struggled his whole life with schoolwork due to Attention Deficit Disorder, but this year had achieved his best grades ever. Like most teens, Chris enjoyed video games, making videos and creating his own rap songs in his "recording studio", our garden shed. He had much compassion and empathy for everyone, especially ones that were bullied or looked down upon. His constant smile will be sorely missed by all of us.

Chris lived with his mother Diane, his father George, and older sister Elizabeth.

Viewing will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Parish Center, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where his Funeral Mass will be offered at 2 pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Chris was an amazing friend to my son, Rafe. All I heard every day was what him and "Jambor" did. My heart breaks everyday for Chris' family and friends. He sure left a huge impact on this community. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

Chris was truly a gentle giant. He had the most innocent smile with a sparkle in his eye. He was one of the boys who spent a lot of time in our home with Nate, Daniel, Cameron and more. He would stay over whenever he could and was always a true gentlemen. It was always a joy hearing them laughing and talking together. We will miss Chris enormously. Our heartfelt condolences to his parents Diane and George.

Chris and I only hung out together a handful of times, we would hang out with nate, danny and cameron. When we would hang out we formed a brothership and a bond and that bond will never be broken.

For the last few years, Chris and his family assisted the Society of St. Vincent dePaul with food distribution. Chris unpacked donated food, checked expiration dates, stacked canned goods in the pantry, and carried food boxes to the cars of appreciative families. Chris approached the spirit of volunteerism with a smile and a caring nature. He exhibited a Christian spirit not only with words but by his actions.
Rest in peace, Chris.
