...another year has gone by Chris. It's now October again. We have had some really nice weather for October and I know we would be sitting around the camp fire with a nice 'cold one' about this time. All the fur babies you knew have all gone to be with you. I'm sure they will be happy to see you - especially Jimmy - he was always so happy to see you.  Hope I get to see you soon too. 'til then, I'll keep your seat open by the fire.

Chris, you were one of the most real genuine people I have ever met. Such a love of life you had. I think about you often, and miss how close of a friend you were. The last thing you said to me was "girl, we have to talk...I have some stories to tell you!!"..... and we never got that chance. But we will ...save me a seat my great friend. I believe that God gives his new Angels a paint brush upon there arrival and tells them to paint in the sky to enhance it's beauty, tonight I spotted a cloud that looked exactly like an ocean wave rising in the sunset... Thanks Chris.... I know that was you letting us know you are at peace in Heaven! Peace to the Santell Family & Friends.

The Santells are some of the best people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Our families have know each other for so long, that when you lose contact with someone like Chris, you know he will be ok, bc of the people in his life. Their is something about the ocean..... when I am near it I feel at home, relaxed, happy, at peace.....
It touched my heart as we talked about the ocean often as I was born and raised an hour from the Jersey Shore.... He always said there was nothing like the crashing of the waves & the smell of the salty air!

Chris we will keep you in our hearts, rest in peace - one day we will see you again.
We never forget your visit here in Germany, a wonderful time we spent together. It was a pleasure to meet you!

1 of my fav memories of Chris was the first nights he took me to a nightclub.I was shy & he pulled me up and took me not just to the dance floor,but to the top of a platform! SO EMBARRASSED! "Genuine" The word that was used by my Boy friend to describe Chris Santell, I have to admit that words fits him to a "T". I had the honor of meeting Chris soon after his birthday when I transferred to the Hermitage Home Depot last year, we hit it off immediately... I felt special with his welcoming of me, only to find out in time that is how he made everyone feel all the time:)

Chris I didn't get to see you often. But Friday what a suprise it was for me to see you, chat and hug you. Who knew God was going to call you home so soon. My heart hurts and the tears keep flowing. I got my picture of you from Friday. The sadness feels like more than I can handle. You are pain free and in God's arms. We love you and will wait for our time to see you again
