Mr. Christopher Wayne "Pokey" Smith was born March 24, 1975 to Chester and Cladie Smith in Tallapoosa county, Alabama. Mr. Smith departed this life Friday, November 13,2015 at Lake Martin Hospital.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Chester W. Smith; nephew, Lil'James Pulliam; grandparents, John and Lessie Smith and Woodrow and Nellie Mae Heard.

Mr. Smith accepted Christ at a early age atleander Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish: one son, Javon Smith; one stepdaughter,
Java Reed; a loving mother, Cladie (Heard) Smith; two
sisters, wanda (James) Pullianr of Daviston, Alabama, Traey{Hamr:a}
Hardy ofAlexander City, Alabama; one brother, Stacy (Tasha) Smith
of Killeen, Texas; two nieces and four nephews; a host of aunts,
uncles, family and friends. Special friends Coach Mike Boyd and
Mr. Fuller.
