The two things that stick out to me the most from the past year that reminded me of you the most ....
When I went to the coast I was watching the sun set, and I felt you right there with me. (Goosebumps all over and everything) as the sky changed colors and the sun slowly went down. I felt you there with me the whole time.
While at the gas station a young man (around 20) was running the car wash. Turned around and looked just like you did at that age. I felt my heart stop and leap at the same time, what a shock that was!! I almost yelled at him until I realized it couldn't be you! First because you're no longer with me and second you only made it as far as California never into Oregon.
I know you are always with me and that helps, I just wish we could still hug each day! Until we meet again I'll keep our memories alive by listening to music that reminds me of us and looking through the pages of the memory book I've made to look at when I need you the most.
