The party

June 17, 2022
by Chris B
I remember the big party at Bear Creek Lodge for Cindy's 21st birthday. Every one of Cindy's friends were there. Im pretty sure we had a big punch bowl full of "Hairy Buffalo". 151 rum and hawaiian punch. Don, Cindy's dad was playing drums, for a buddys band, everyone was having a great time. Man, that was a great party.  Another time, me, Dave Bryan, Cindy, Jim Reilly, and a couple other people,  were having a cook out at this now extinct park off McKwen rd. in Centerville. We were cookin bar-b-q chicken on the grill. And drinking beer. Well, it got dark, and as we were following Jim Reilly on a paved path to exit the park, following Jim, somehow we managed to end up on someone's front yard, with both cars stuck in the muddy grass. The cops came, the owner was cussin, we thought we were goin to jail. But the owner told the cops he wouldn't press charges, if we came back the next weekend and fixed his yard. We did. Haha. Cindy also loved to go to Clifton Gorge and John Bryan State Park, especially the pine forest at John Bryan, where there was a spring with a spicket sticking out of the hillside, where you could get fresh clean spring water. That is a beautiful place. Then we would all go to HaHa Pizza afterwards, because everybody had the munchies. Ha. Cindy, i love you and miss you, but you are now in Jesus's care. Your friend forever, Chris.
