I remember when Dad came out to celebrate CC's retirement from the Navy, he was so proud of his son. We were getting the yard ready for his retirement party and Mr. Carroll insisted that he was going to lay a cement walkway that would lead to the backyard. CC was like are you serious, him and Mr. Carroll must have made 5 trips to Home Depot to get bags of cement. All he wanted after a day of laying cement was a good meal and a cold brew. I genuinely appreciated the work he put in laying that walkway when he was supposed to be on vacation. Even though we no longer live in that home that walkway will always be there made with love. RIP Dad with all my Love.
