Growing up with not many men in our family, we treasured the ones we had...and having you Unc meant having someone to fix your car, take you to the store while fussing and laughing all at the same time You showed up for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. So you may not have known but you installedin us girls of the family to chose a Man that no matter what will always SHOW-UP I love and appreciate you for that. May your soul rest peacefully

I will never forget the first day your son brought me to meet you, you said hello and the next thing you asked me was do i have a sister. We laughed so hard and junior looked at me and said you think he is joking but he is serious. From that day on i knew you loved the ladies. I will miss you and i promise i will continue to take care of your son. Love your daughter in law Tina.

One day, my dad and I were working on cars and I had a scooter. Dad got on the scooter and road it around Safeway. I remember the smile on his face, he was like a big kid. We reminisced on that day all of the time.

I remember my dad teaching me how to install my first carpet when I started working for 491 Carpenters Union. I remember my dad fixing my first car when someone crashed it. I remember the smirk he always made when someone asked him for money.  I remember him always wiping his car down no matter where he was at. Always riding in a clean car !!!

I remember watching my dad work on cars when I was younger.I remember when my dad taught me how to check the oil in my car. I remember when my daughter, Taylor was born and he came to the hospital to see us. Watching my dad hold Taylor was a precious moment.  He showed his love by showing up to events and always checking up on me. I learned from him that life is short and often brutal, and the best way to combat all that is with a good laugh and an ability to appreciate the small moments of joy despite the circumstances.
