Another year, season and chapter without you. You fought for truth and the fear of the Lord and you won!!! You were prophetically right in your final words regarding the battle. The warriors fought and finished what you couldn't so I rejoice as I bid you peace again. I know you jubilate with us and some of us feel your presence. We all love you from CCC Edward Street parish and your name is forever entwined in its history. Love you to infinity and thank you for ALL you started in Edward

Still we continue the journey without you with only memories which keep you alive . Aaron is so much like you in mannerisms that we laugh about like when you rub your belly. Tou would have been 50 last month but we celebrate abd remember you every single day. I am understanding the perfection in God's timing for you and trust mine will come at your calling. Thank you for the joys you gave your family and friends. God keep you in His illumination and we'll meet again in our new bodies in His kingdom. Sleep on my love. T

Clement Olayinka akande you were born a hero among a hundred of wise men. You were a true brother, friend. When I met you in celestial church of Christ Edward street choir. You sing while I play the guitar. You are an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. You understand the responsibility that comes with passion to praise god while singing those lovely praise songs. You are generous in spirit also really deeply down, you are a caring person who looks for the peace of Jerusalem. I would say you produce dignity, loyalty, determination, kindness, and compassionateness to achieve great goals, targets and successful vision in life. Sleep at the right hand of jesus

You would have been 48 today and we'd have done what we do on all your birthdays regardless of where you are in the world. So I say happy birthday!!! loud and clear and believe you can hear cos I cannot call, text or email. You leave a gaping hole in our family, a very deep wound that will never heal till maybe when I die also.

Thank you for the birthdays we shared, we had many and they are memorable. I know you would be thinking bout us if you could as we are cos we can n we love and miss you everyday. Spoke to your mum today n yeah it's hard n unbelievable that you are not here. God knows best is all I can say n he's got you. Am sure you'd be saying why are you crying probably angry that I/we are in tears but we cannot help it, we miss you too much n we can't reach you. Well, forever young we'll always remember your birthdays (both birth in physical and spiritual) even though you stopped aging here.

I told Aaron after we prayed for you that you are not dead but in spirit so we all say happy birthday to your spirit self and continue to rest in peace. Love always

It was like yesterday when we are all rejoicing with you hoping that when your 50th come we will celebrate it in style not knowing that the time you sign with your make is nigh. If not to anybody I still remeber your confessions and I know that God heard it too.
I hope your departure will transform many soul that the lives we are living is not ours but God's, that we should learn to leave evry day as its our last for there is nor tomorrow!
2nd Cor 6:2 For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Psalm 39:6
"Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be.
Adieus! A good friend and brother till we see soon!

I am still in Daze by your sudden departure, I will never say you are a Saint, but I would say you are a Grace, it is not how long but how well; you were there for me when i was bereaved.... you held my hand and prayed with me... had it been i know that the thanks giving service we did will be the last time i will see you..., i would have given you the biggest hugs, I cry, I moan, I ask God lot of Questions, but his Answer to me me is ''Taiwo, I needed him and I called him, he's in a Far better place, where there is no wailing on Gnashing of teeth, except Peace and Serenity, and it not how long but how well'' I thank God for your life, Knowing fully that Christian do not Die!, I rest my Case that you are Sleeping in the Bosom of our God, So Long my Brother, So Long my Friend, till we meet to part know more....

His wife

March 12, 2014

We met in 1990 and married the next year October1991 and our first son was born six days later. That was the begining of many memories - travelling around the world, two more sons, family life, church life, good times, bad times, married you again in 2001 with our sons as page boys in the lavish Nigerian way with our families. You were funny, laughed out loud, loved your sons, was proud of your family, confident, trustworthy, a friend, my life partner, and many more that words cannot covey.

Your achievements iare many including great father, family man,a BTEC HND in Printing, Publishing and Packaging Production at the London College of Printing but ultimately you leave a legacy of peace among men and service to God's work. You loved God above all and would die for him. When you love, you loved dedicatedlly and passionately; when you cared, you cared with compassion. Your heart was massive and you touched a huge number of people to the point that their problems were your and their joys were yours also. People like you are rare and that's why I miss you so much cos there'll never another that can come slightly close. You were a good ambasador for Christ and shepherded many into HIS glory. Christ who redeemed you will keep you safe from harm and HIS light will continually be with you.

Now am proud of you, although I didn't tell you enough am really proud of you. You were a good man and I'll always love you and look forward to when we meet again. You left way too soon Olayinka and the way you left is painful but as you always saidwe'll be fine. Seems you were correct all along in knowing you won't grow old with me and I was wrong. So I'll be srtong and remember the things you said on those odd occassions. Rest in eternal peace my Olayinka
