Grew up w/ Joe in Ohio & Europe. Our Dads were good friends. Joe was like an older brother to my sister & I when we visited in Germany. He was pres. of the teen club & took us under his wing & would all spend some holidays together. Nice to see he followed in his Dad's footsteps. You were lucky to have such a great Papa. His Dad was a sweetie too. (Fellow Air Force brats & loved it.)

My Papa was the best Grandfather a girl could be blessed with. He created the most beautiful family that I am so fortunate to be a part of. He was always there to listen, give advice, and remind me that family is what makes life rich. He gave the best hugs. I will miss those hugs. I love you Papa and I am sad that you left us so soon. I'm comforted to know you are with Nana in Heaven watching over us. Thank you for blessing me with a beautiful family.
