Connerboy

Conner was born on 3rd august 2005 @ queen elizabeth hospital . Birmingham .immediately after his birth .conner was tranferred to birmingham childens hospital where he requied a major operation at only one day other operations followed over the next few weeks - the initial prognosis was very poor  conner was very poorly little boy and was not expected to live two weeks .however conner was a fighter and held his own , although he was intensive care requiring constant nursing attention. Slowly conner gained strength due to the constant care and attenion of mommy and daddy who stayed constantly at conners bedside and the brilliant care of the nusing staff conner did not gain weight until a booster feed tube was inserted into conner blood stream it was then that conner started to thrive .conner spent 6 month in birimingham childen hospital in intensive care and ward 4 the ward 14  conner was tranferred to russels hall hospital childen ward and spent another 6 month in this ward -conner made a great impression on all whovmet and treated him and a greatimpression on all who met and treated him and made greatfriends with all the nusing staff.we could not go anywher without someone asking about conner. Nurse and doctors obviously thougth a lot about him ,but we have yet to find anyone who could resist his mischievous smile and personaliy. We continued to spends nihts with conner .as conner neared his first birthday ,both nanny and grandad started to undergo medical training so he could home .over the next 18 months conner went from strength to strength however he had a few laspses in health ,whereas medical intervention was required .A major one in june 2007 where conner was admitted to russells hall childens ward and then required life support in intensive care  life support in intensive care at birminham childens hospital, however after three days his medication was reduced and conner took the opportunity pull his intubation tube out  conner  made a fast recovery andvwas doing extermely well till december when he caught the fluvand again required life support this tome it was for 3 week. Conner was left qute weak by this illness however he continued to love being around his family and cousins at home conner pass away on february 10 th while the medical staff were attempting to get him on life support .conner was a figter ,he was aways smiling and was exteremely happy  he love to be part of a famliy and he was an integral part of our family life he personality was loveing /mischievous and extremely giving our lives have been enriched by his very being ,we are devastated by his loss and we know a lot of  dark days lie ahead ,but this should not distract fron the fact that although he was only in our lives for 30 months he is an outstanding example of the highest quality of what really mattes in life and throughout his adversities ,he continued to smile and show great love to all around him we know conner touced many people to greater and lesser degrees and we would love you to share memories
