The story of Curt's life has been compiled so that his children, grandchildren and future descendants can learn about him and remember him. As his spouse, I did not know Curt until he was in his twenties. I have relied on photos, a box of documents and memories, things I remember from conversations, research and info from his siblings and some friends to write his story. Curt's sister (Vicky Alexander Johnson) is the family historian and has worked for years on the entire family tree, of which a portion which will be included in the last chapter. Photos in the life chapters and the gallery are not necessarily in chronological order – dates are included when known.  To read chapters,click on the PDF file to open.. This chapter goes back in time to relay known information about Curt's ancestors. Very little of this comes from personal research, but relies heavily on research done by Curt's sister Vicky Johnson.  For this reason, sources have not been included.  Some stories my be family based, but other sources and much more information can be obtained on Ancestry.com and familysearch.org, Newspapers.com and various other sites.
