His Life

Living In Kingsland

February 17, 2016

He came to live with me in Kingsland from Houston, He was going to college to learn computer science. He had signed up, and was really enjoying being here with family, Connie was living with me also, so they had a good time visiting. He was here at my home for 12 days, the day before he passed he was complaining with a really bad cough, he had a doctor's appointment in a couple of days, he had gone to sleep setting up so Connie and I walked him and helped him to bed. We went in to check on him and he was laying on the floor, but he slept on the floor sometimes because of a bad back, so we covered him up I went in to check on him at 3am and checking on him I reach down to check him and he wasn't breathing, I knew at that moment he had passed, I guess, I went into shock and still don't remember any thing, the ambulance came to get him an Conn said I got to kiss him by twice. They had to send him for atrophy to see what killed him, it was Phenomena, with several meds that went against each other,, evidence showed it was accidental. He was hurt in so bad from coughing, that he had taken med that didn't go together to help it. This was so devastating to find my Son like that, it was horrible. He was hurried at the Plano Cemetery, where Joel, has made his grave to look nice. Joel was close to Curtis , he loved his uncle Curtis so much. Cindy, his younger sister were very close and she hadn't been able to see him alive when he had came from Houston, we thought we had lot of time to catch up with our visiting, blue we never know when someone is going to be called home, so please tell your loved ones how much you love them while you can.love you my precious Son of mine now he is with God.

You also had  a little friend and she was born without arms, the same age of you, you would give her cookies and you knew she would take them with here toes, such a caring little boy you were.

My Dearest Son

Curtis,  as my only son, he was so precious from the day he was born such a beautiful baby. He was a wonderful little boy not ever any trouble, he always loved every one. He was very dependent on his mom all his life. He worked at American Airlines and wen I flew any where he kept tabs on me that I made it there safe. He was always kind and compassionate to everyone. I know that he teased his sister Cindy a lot. They were also very good friends. His sister Connie were best friends.I was always proud of him because he was always sincere in anything he did. He always worried about his mom all the time, checking on me to make sure I was OK. We had such a wonderful bond. He had a lot more in life to do he was excited about life, when God took him to heaven. He was going back to college to learn computer science and was really excited about it. He made you happy just to be around him with such a wonderful personality.I was so devastated when God took him, because he had a lot more he wanted to do here on earth. I miss him so immensely. He was my life.
