Although I never met Koty I feel I got to know him thru the posts from his mom. I found out about his disappearance thru my niece Amy Bailey. God bless this family who endured so much and never gave up.

I have a 24 year old son and a 20 year old son who is an undergrad at Duquesne and lives on the South Side. When you went missing, it felt like you were one of my own. I prayed for a miracle everyday, and asked the Blessed Mother to pray for you and your family. Our family is tight knit and very loving, just as yours is and I know your life was great because of the family you were blessed with. You were a fine man, and will be sorely missed by loved ones and strangers alike, who will carry a little piece of you in their hearts forever.

I have followed this story from the day you went missing I was hoping for a good out come .I have seen many pictures of you posted by friends and family and loved your beautiful smile feels like I knew you .My prayers are with Your family at this terrible time may they find some peace and comfort..Fly high Dakota...

Dakota, like most I don't personally know you or your family but that first time I saw your Dad so broken on the news my heart knew in some way I had to help your family. It was a true honor to walk along side your Dad during a search and to spend a few minutes talking to your Mom and your Aunt. You are loved by so many. I will always carry your memory in my heart. I am so very sorry you were taken from this earth much to soon. My love and sympathy to the James family and to all who know you.

I remember seeing the missing person posts on Facebook as family searched for Dakota, I was hoping it would end differently. Checking his mother's fb page daily, and hoping for a positive update. Praying the family will get answers and find peace. May you fly with the angels Dakota!

I followed your story since February 25th when you had gone missing. I have a 23 year old son and as I read the stories your mother posted on Facebook and the pain of your father on Television, I could feel their pain as if your were my child. You were truly loved by your family and towards the end by all who did not even know you. You will continue your journey, just in a different place. Dance with the angels Dakota.
