I remember Danni growing up in Youngstown. Jordan describes her beautifully. She was a light of kindness and understanding. How wonderful for Jordan to have created this place for friends to express their feelings about his wonderful Mom.

Sitting today at your mothers resting place , to be somehow both with her and to honor and of course, always remember her, turned my heart into an open flood of tears. Later I will tell you more.

Dana "Danni" Lee (Monus) Schaul was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Albert Monus and Jean Rose Monus. Her younger sister Melissa is also deceased. She graduated from Liberty High School where she was Homecoming Queen. She began her studies in nutrition and dietetics at Northwestern University. She graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She did post -graduate clinical training at hospitals in New York City and Atlanta before becoming a registered dietician at CWRU's Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

My mom was the center of our lives. She was a spirited, vivacious and energetic woman. She was as beautiful as she was classy and elegant and graceful. She was the life of the party and she was my mom.
