It’s almost Father’s Day, Daddy.

I went to the library today and witnessed how a young girl was sourcing books for her dad for Father’s Day. I thought, if you were here, what would I give you?

I’d make several cameos of your life. One where you’re cooking, with that special touch that only you could bring to our meals. One where we’re watching a movie, and you’re running your hilarious commentaries, making us laugh more than the film itself. One where you’re laughing heartily, filling the room with warmth and joy. One where you’re letting us comb your hair, a simple moment that brought us so much closeness and tenderness. And one where you’re giving your final salute, a gesture that encapsulated your strength, honor, and love.

These memories are the gifts I cherish, the moments that define your presence in my life. Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. You’re always in my heart

Dear Daddy,
In joyful remembrance, you passed into a new life 20 years ago. Your life was really like the morning dew. You touched so many lives in your short time on earth. I will forever be fascinated by your work, your swag and your love.

You lived an incredible life and that's why Heaven couldn't wait for you.

Rest in Heaven's glory.

I love you

My daddy gave me the best gift any father could give. “tears of joy”
I’m so glad that the best gift you gave me was when you laughed- boisterously and at liberty, with tears in your eyes.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing yourself and for comforting me (us) with the memories of your laughter. I just wish you were here to make us laugh more. You’ll always be my superhero daddy.
Happy heavenly Father’s Day

God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face, He put His arm around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your tired eyes and whispered 'peace be thine'. It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, for a part of us went with you the day God called you home. We miss you so much Daddy, we love you and forever will!

My beloved, On this day as I remember you, my heart is filled with joy and thanksgiving to God. Why? Because when you left me and i pondered why you had to leave me so early, the Lord took me to the book of Wisdom chapter 4:7-14. And I was highly comforted for the honour the lord gave you to have taken you at the time he did and your prayer too that we should all be gathered together one day.Our prayer is that may tour dream of rapture come to pass for every member of the family that none of us be left behind. Continue to sleep in the bosom of the Lord my sunshine.

“I hate money”

November 26, 2019

“I hate money”

I remember when you and mum were discussing money. Not that we had money issues but it must have been a project or something and you two were calculating and prioritizing. From that conversation I could tell mummy was the financial advisor and dad... you were quite uneasy and out of frustration, you interrupted and said “I hate money”. Mummy in her soothing voice said, “money is a necessity”. I was small and didn’t have the cognitive skills to understand what money was about but I digested the fruit of that conversation, allowing it to mould and shape me on how to have a good balance of life. I’m grateful that I didn’t only have non -materialistic parents  but impactful parents. I’m blessed to be your fruit and I hope that I bear much fruit.
Sleep well daddy
