God gives and God takes away.
As for me I have no complaints.
I always cherish the precious gift I was given
And I rejoice in the divine plan to change the course of many lives by the unselfish devotion of one incredible woman.
You see...her children were chosen, handpicked, from circumstances of obscurity
Seemly insignificant and crude due to the realities of their birth and given as daughters to a woman of great worth.
How different would our life stories be if to another we were given. But God loved us so much that only to an angel would he to us entrust.
So what was brimming with the abundance of love was now in full bloom and this miracle by God's design is now revealed... Daphne Elizabeth Bennett lives on in the three of us.
She was filled with so much love. In every way she molded us, three diamonds in the rough. She loved and she prodded, she suggested but never imposed, sacrificed and persisted until she saw her wisdom finally stuck.
To be a mother- that is easy, a simple biological fact! To be a beloved mom is no easy accomplishment and only the truly courageous can achieve that. And if for more than the last fifteen years you've knew her, you too will agree that she held nothing back and gave the best of her self to the three of us.
So If you want to see Daphne again, if even a glimpse of what she professed to be, take a look in her daughters and tell us what you see.
If we walk with dignity, grace and poise Daphne Elizabeth Bennett lives on in us
If we answer your questions with astuteness and intelligence it's our mom within us
And if something we say inspires you because of its wisdom, profoundness and undeniable truth that is also Daphne deep within us
If we appear sensible, practical and disciplined, committed and long suffering, these qualities were instilled in us
If just a hint of stubbornness and self sufficiency, that was Daphne
And if you look at my daughters and you are impressed by their aura remember that they are also Daphne's granddaughters
If you see our love, warmth and acceptance of those we meet, that's one of the many things we learnt at her feet.
If we perform acts of extreme self-sacrifice and are spun into action by compassion, kindness, empathy and mercy and you ask yourself how could this be. The only answer to that question would be Daphne.
And if by some great fortune you knew her, and you are honest with yourself and took the time to examine, and if you reflect on your encounters, I am sure you would also conclude that a little bit of Daphne also lives on in you.

I don't know what to say. There is so much I should have said when you were alive and now I wont get the chance to and it hurts so much. I love you auntie and may your soul rest in peace.
