Tributes
Leave a tributeI think of you often. And in doing so, I stumbled on this memorial sight. It was such a blessing to read the way you touched so many lives as you did mine. I have a photo of you on my mantle to this day. When people ask me who you are I always tell them that you were the only man that taught me how to fish. Not literally, but you taught me how to survive, you paid for my tuition, you invested in me so that I can eat forever. I don’t know anyone else who would have given me as much as you did with no questions asked and nothing asked for in return. I would not have the house I own the car I drive or anything if you did not invest in me! You are a true gem. I visited your grave for the first time this year in May. I couldn’t bring myself to visit you until now. I promise you with all my heart that It will not be my last visit. Thank you again my friend for teaching me how to fish. I love you and miss you dearly! Your friend forever, Butter.
Dave Chisholm was the best boss anyone could pray for! Dave was not only a great boss, but truly a wonderful person. He was my brother/boss as my sister would say. He was such a generous person! He was kind to everyone who he knew. What Boss you know would treat his workers to Sammy's Seafood Restaurant for dinner every Fridays & Saturdays? and then top it off with a bottle of Baileys. All the Dispatchers would look forward to every Mother's day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I for one, definitely anticipated Christmas; because my bonus was always HUGE! Only God knows how much I miss my Boss! Everything was not all peaches & cream with Mr. Chisholm & I. We would have our disagreements, & he would say "you know what, mek mi gwaan a mi yard, cause u act like yuh own SKYLINE" and he left. Shortly after he left the office, he would call and say Nick-Nick, are you okay? Dave you are SIMPLY the best & you are IRREPLACABLE! Dave, may God take you up in his hand & place your soul in heaven's divinely made bed so that you may be comforted by your father's presence. Sleep in peace Dave! I LOVE you! You are gone & I will forever miss you dearly!

LOVE YOU UNCLE DAVE !!! AND I MISSS U ALREADY! !!
Life is the greatest gift that God has given to us. Death is only a bridge towards eternal life with God. So don't worry family and friends, nothing can ever take away the love a heart holds dear. Fond memories are keepsakes of time that lives forever in the heart and remembrance will keep him near until you all meet some day in heaven
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
My heart still ache in sadness
And tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know."

The way Dave care for people
I was in Dave's office one day and one of his drivers came in with some money to do a payment of which he was already two weeks late. I was about to excuse myself however, Management insisted that I stayed so I did.
The driver did not have the full amount for the two weeks payments, and the money he had was also short. Dave took what he (driver) had and when he was leaving turned around and asked Management (Dave) for some money to buy some gas. Dave counted the money again without saying a word and gave the driver some money to get the gas.
This story may be a tip in the ocean in comparison with the things that this Man has done to inpact the lives he came in contact with.
