For those of you that don't know me, my name is Storm and David was my great-grandfather as I sit here attempting to write this to you all today. It's hard to believe he's actually gone. The man that taught me how to fish. He also taught me how to cuss. My mother didn't like it much but it was a special bond that only him and I had. My grandfather wouldn't want us all this to sit around and be sad. Today he would want us to rejoice for life well lived today. We should honor his memory. That will all forever be cherished in everyone's hearts. The man made an impact on everyone he met. He was funny. He was mouthy but most of all he was loving. He would give the shirt off his back if it meant you had everything he need. That's the kind of man my great-grandfather was. He's served in the United States army. He raised beautiful girls to become beautiful mothers which in turn gave me my mother and then came me. I will forever be grateful for every moment I got with him the lessons I learned from him. I love you so much grandpa. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. You're here and my daughter's laughter, my son's smart mouth and I know I will forever see you in my grandmother, aunts and mother's eyes I love you old man. Go fly with the angels. Give grandma a big hug for me. You have been released from duty on January 30th. 2024 at 0900 welcome home. Settled her Love your grandson storm Daniel United States Marine corps
