I'll always remember Dave's colourful and forthright humour, a shock at first but soon appreciated and never forgotten. A successful man in business but even more successful in creating such an amazing family with Viv. Thanks for the laughter.

There was certainly never a dull moment with you around, Dave, thanks for 30 years of colourful stories! You and Viv brought three very unique, thoughtful, kind and funny children into the world- there are many who will thank you for that for years to come.

I didn't spend much time with you, but I will always remember that wonderful (and exciting for a young lad) day you rowed us across the river to the pub and we spent a lovely afternoon in the pub grounds.
So sorry you had to leave before we could meet again.

You led a very special life with a very special wife. With Vivi you raised three wonderful children. You and your "Scouse +" sense of humour will be missed by us all. Time now for you to catch up with brother Gerry. Opinionated, awkward, steadfast, sharp, generous, funny, outrageous.
He had many quirks and qualities and certainly did things his own way.

It took me a bit of time to get used to your somewhat forthright ways and direct sense of humor! Once we knew each other though, you would give me a look; a wink, a smile and a tip of the head and we were on the same wave length. Thank you, sir, it is an honor to have known you.
