Pa Paradise, DM as fondly called by his wife,Iye Samson, your exist from this sinful world was irreplaceable loss to us that one way or the other had contact with you during your 70 years sojourning on earth.Shocked and saddened i was with this news of your departure, well i take solace in the fact that your left legacy and lived a life of GODLY MAN,GODLY FATHER to the Glory of your Creator with serial testimonial remarks herein posted. My own remark; the wardrobe of 15years (Still stands as yesterday made) in my wife room and Casket used in buried my Late Father 6years ago were all from your "Furniture Factory" at a compassionate prices. Also when i was out of employment due to Federal Government downsizing policy in 2006. For the period of 4 years 3months(December 2006 to March 2011)that i was jobless, each time Pa Paradise saw me, i would see how he was pathetic to my plight then with words of encouragement. During this period, date i can't remember but surely it was when Late Yinusa Olatunji Oyeneye was the Chairman Governing Board of TASUED, DM saw me and asked me to come along with my Curriculum Vitae to go and met with Late Oyeneye at his residence in Ijebu-Ode from Ago-Iwoye,we went and after endlessly waited till night because the Late Oyeneye was not around, we came back unsuccessful. But this kind gesture of LATE DAVID OSUNNUGA a.k.a Paradise to me,as a person it will remain indelible in my memory hence necessitated it here as my Tribute.
Since 1988 that providence made me not only to become a family friend but also a not biological son it behoves on me to say i lose a father. Friday,March 11,2016, when last i spoke with him on his sick bed and mentioned my name as Gbenga,he was not comfortable with that name until i said CHEMIST which together with his wife they both fondly call me.After my prayer for him to overcome the ailment,in returned, he also prayed to come and meet me and my family in good health but that failed to happen.
Iba Samson RIP and may Jehovah gives your wife, family members and us (Non family members) the fortitude to bear the vacuum you left us with. Amen.
