This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, David Hanson Mgysgt. U.S.M.C. ( Ret ). He wad born on November 30, 1960, and passed away on March 20th, 2024, at age 63. He was truly a gentle giant, a big guy with a big heart, and a ready smile. And more than that, he was very proud to have been a Marine... We will remember him forever. He is survived by his daughter Corrine, and his two grandchildren Jason and Riley, his neice Jamie, his girlfriend Cathy, and his sister Sharon Hunter-Gudelot. He was a big guy with a big heart, and he had a great sense of humor. He touched a lot of people's lives in a positive way, and was always ready to step up whenever someone needed a helping hand.

I am beyond sad to hear about Dave's passing... It almost seems impossible. Dave was such a strong guy... He unfortunately dealt with a lot of medical issues after being wounded while serving in Afghanistan... He underwent numerous surgeries, yet somehow always came out on top... More than anything, I'll miss his incredible sense of humor, and when I was going through a rough time, he always found the right words of encouragement... Farewell, my friend... May you truly be at peace. Till Valhalla !!!!
