Happy 1st Birthday in Heaven Dad! There isn't a day where you don't cross my mind. You're missed deeply and we are all trying very hard to continue living life in your honor and to make you proud. Today is Dave's 65th birthday. Our family always worked to make it special, and to have it stand out from Christmas. This made for a nice situation....celebrate Dave's birthday, then four days later, celebrate Christmas! Our elementary school, Menlo Park, recently had a 100 year celebration, and many old friends, neighbors and classmates attended. A touching memorial was there to honor those who have left us. Dave is prominent among them. We all miss you, every day. Your legacy of kindness, joy and love will forever envelop us with great memories and thoughts. Happy Birthday, brother!
