Davon Valentino Robertson, age 24, was granted his wings and entered into everlasting eternity on Monday, October 13, 2014 in Bridgeport, CT. Davon was born on October 21, 1989 in Waterbury, CT to James E. Robertson and Yolanda Maldonado. He lived in Florida with his Aunt, Sisters, and Grandparents, before returning back to Bridgeport at the age of 12 to live with his Father and Stepmother. Davon was a loving father and caring son.He received his education from the Bridgeport Public School System. As a child Davon played football for the Waterbury Patriots. He was also an avid football fan and his favorite team was the New England Patriots. Davon enjoyed the outdoors, boxing, and fishing. He was pursuing boxing as a sport, until being injured in a dirt bike accident.Davon always wanted to better himself, and as a result was interested in going to trade school. He had several jobs throughout his life, but he was currently employed at Pace Motor Line in Stratford, CT.Davon is survived by, father, James E. (Yohana) Robertson, Sr; mother, Yolanda Maldonado; 6 siblings, Dontrese Robertson, James Robertson, Jr., Mataya Robertson, Luis Montes, Joseline Padilla all of Bridgeport, CT, and Cecelia Coss of Florida; Fiancé, Dayren Maldonado; 8 month old son, Davon V. Robertson, Jr., and a unborn child; paternal grandparents, Fred (Dorothy) Robertson of Bridgeport, CT and Willie Mae Robertson of Waterbury, CT; maternal grandparents, Virginia (Antonio) Huertas of Florida; God father, Boone Synakorn; 5 step sisters, 3 God sisters, 1 God brother, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
