Happiness is a Warm Puppy
On January 25, 1963 my uncle, Dan Cane gave me the Charles M. Schulz book, Happiness is a Warm Puppy. Inside he wrote:
For Lisa--
who is the biggest bundle of happiness in the world.
Love,
Uncle Danny
I have held onto that book for over 50 years, every time I read it, it has brought me happiness. During one of my recent visits, I brought the book to read to Dan. When I shared my story he added, "Happiness is STILL a warm puppy!"
I have been blessed, honored to have as a true friend and profoundly influenced by my uncle. He will be terribly missed.
