BACKGROUND/ACADEMIC CAREER

August 15 1944, which began yet as another beautiful day, ushered in our glorious, gracious, intelligent, wise, awesome, focused, scintillating, God-fearing and indefatigable legend, Francis Olamobisi Fadayomi popularly called Baba Fadayomi.

 

Born into the family of Mr and Mrs Johnson Fadayomi in Erinketa, Ondo State. Our precious stone and rare gem whose watchwords are honestly and loyalty started his primary school education at the St. Matthew Primary School, Ondo where he came out in flying colours. He proceeded to St. Johns Secondary school Okitipupa and wrote his WAEC exams at Ondo Boys High School, Ondo, where he also distinguished himself excellently among his peers . He continued his academic career at the prestigious University of Ibadan with a diploma in Psychology

 

WORKING EXPERIENCE

In pursuit of an improved lifestyle, he moved to the city of Lagos where he began his career with Agip Oil Company and later moved to Bata Nigeria Plc (now FAMAD Company). He was so passionate about his job, doing his assigned work tactically, diligently and with uncompromising integrity. Little wonder he was adorned with so many accolades, merit awards and honours. A man seated upon the Hills, the sky is his stepping stone. His consistent quest for knowledge, skills acquisition and personal development was out of this world and he had all these as his credentials: Training in Salesmanship and practical psychology, product management, human relations, personnel development, professional studies in employee performance and productivity.

 

After a much successful professional career, our multi-talented and versatile icon ventured into business and founded Lumfad Nigeria Ltd where he impacted the lives of his employees, clients and other stakeholders positively.

 

FAMILY

Blessed with godly and glorious children, both male and female amongst whom are: a Business Manager, a Computer Engineer, a Business & Financial Strategist & a Petroleum Engineer. Baba Fadayomi raised his children up sacrificially and selflessly, he made sure they all had the best in life spiritually, socially, health-wise and academically. Of a truth Baba Fadayomi  lived his entire life for his children. He is also blessed with many graceful, beautiful and handsome grandchildren. He had a unique trait, not just a father to his children but to all people. Quiet and easy going, a man of peace, strived to please God at all times. He bestrode the global landscape like a  COLLUSUS

 

SERVICE TO GOD AND HUMANITY

A devoted member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Baba Fadayomi served diligently in various capacities as Financial secretary  Provincial Elders' Council Province 17, Financial secretary/Treasurer Jesus family Province 17,PRO Provincial Elders' Council Province 29. Despite his age, he continued to serve God relentlessly, with ease and he had  these to his spiritual credits: Certificate of Recognition as a worker in training, Certificate of Attendance at the Redeemed Bible College, Certificate of Ordination as a Deacon, Certificate of School of Discipleship.

 

Sincerely, searching through all eternity, yet to find any whose heart is so zealous and gigantically drawn to the work of God like him. His spiritual profundity and academic sagacity is world class. No wonder the Bible says, have you seen a man diligent in his ways, he will stand before kings and not mere men. If Baba Fadayomi's virtues were to be auctioned and placed on a world record, no one can dare break the record till eternity. He had the stamina of a 15 year old, the smartness of a 20 year old, the dependability of a 40 year old, the calmness of a 60 year old and the wisdom of a 70 year old.

 

Valiant soldier, we owe our lives to you because you lived every year of your life to make ours more lovable, enviable and meaningful. You are a source of inspiration in which our destinies have been tremendously shaped. We are the fruit of a tree which owes it sweetness to the strength of its root, which you are. You worked so hard for seventy years of your life, which is the reason your future generations would not see any strife.
