Debra Shoop was born Debra Sue Allen to Jerry and Susanne Allen on May 9, 1957.  She was the first daughter and child and had two younger brothers, Thomas and Joe.  She graduated from W.T.Woodson High School in 1974 and went on to study at Longwood University for two years.  She met and married Tom Harrington in 1985, whom she had her two daughters with, Jillian and Brooke.  They divorced in 1992, and she went on to met a co-worker who she fell in love with, Phil Shoop.  They married in 1996 at her home in Fairfax, Va.  She went on the raise her daughters and be happily married, sent both daughters off to the college she attended, and became closer with them as they grew into adults.  She moved a lot in her final years, first to Tennesse, then to North Carolina where she and Phil were joined by her youngest daughter Brooke and her fiance, who moved in November of 2009.  They all relocated to Florida in July of 2010, where she would spend her last months with them.  She passed away at 3:30am on November 29, 2010, at Orange Park Medicial Center.  Her death was sudden and all too soon, and will be felt by everyone who loved her forever.  She was an amazing person who lit up any room and a wonderful mother and friend.  She will be missed.
