Grandad, you've taken me through many adventures since as far back as I can remember when you used to pick me up and take me back to north wales on about ten different busses... all part of the adventure though! I remember when we used to walk down that big massive hill when you used to take me shopping, I got excited just going to the post office with you to pick up a news paper or whatever else it was you had to do before we went off to Caenarfon or Pwllheli , and then we would get back to the beuno you would have a pint or my and I'd be drinking shandy... I loved those days , so many memories!. I want to thank you for these times and the influence you had on me as a person and on life . Just a few simple words of wisdom was all it took for you to make me think of certain things or change my mind about something. I remember when we used to pass a small mountain and I used to say to you that I wanted to climb it, so one day we did , you took me up to the top of the mountain and the next day I was sore from head to toe! I was only about 10... but it was well worth it and it's just one of many memories that I will never forget! I wish we could of had a bit more time to make more memories but we all must pass, it's just part of the process of life. I'm just glad you had the chance to see your beautiful great grandaughter and on a few occasions infact. RIP Grandad Dennis, forever missed. XxX

My darling husband Dennis, was the truest and most wonderful man who ever entered my life, I love him with all my heart and always will. Even death cannot separate us.
To quote from poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning
"How do I Iove you?
Let me count the ways I love you with the breath ' smiles, tears of all my life, and if life should choose, I shall love you better after death”
We had our ups and downs, who doesn't? but through-out it all, our love prevailed.
Thank you with all my heart for letting me love you. And thank you, your ever loving wife and always thank you,
and thank you yet again.

Dad you showed me how the most valuable things in life are free. The beauty of nature and our surroundings, but most of all how important the family is, I really do get it now !! You always made an effort to get the family together right to the end. You will be in all of our hearts when there is a family occasion and you will never be forgotten, no doubt the topic of many conversation.
You always said you were not a brave man, you are the bravest man I ever met, I'm going to miss you to confide in. and of course to talk about the football.
Love you, you are forever with me xx

Dennis was an amazing Godfather and brilliant person. He sparked my interest in nature as a young child which influenced my passion for science. Thank you for everything Dennis, you will be greatly missed.

Dennis, my dearest cousin, will always be in my heart. He has been a constant in our family's life in the midst of never ending change. Not only was he there for my childhood, but also my adulthood after leaving England, always sending letters, drawings, phone calls, texts over almost 40 years. His voice and thoughts will be running through my head for the rest of my life. His influence on our children was huge and the love he showed them and interest in all they did will never be forgotten. He was taken away too soon, still had so much life left in him. Neil and I send all our love to Eileen, Tristan, Jo and all the family stay strong. xxxx

With deepest sympathy. My mum, Patricia Sheehan Wachutka, was Dennis' cousin.

My grandad tought me as a child how to see the amazing things in the world!, even from Wales! Haha we found so many cool things up in the mountains and down on the shores of the beaches we walked on. And Iv never stopped exploring, I'll always have my grandad in my heart and take him with me wherever I go, I told him I'm going to hopefully see the northern lights in Iceland next week, and hopefully I do and he's with me, I love him so much and will miss him dearly. X
Always in my heart, I love you
