As made evident by the film "The Killing Fields", as well as his efforts to help the Cambodian people, Dith Pran was truly a remarkable man with and extreme dedication to survive and share his story. Hopefully, his struggle was not in vane, and will serve to prevent future attrocities such as those that he witnessed.
