Larry, Jennifer, and Jason, I've had the pleasure of working with Donna at APC for several years and is one lady that I will never forget. She was funny, giving, fiesty, and always had the "good" sweets and gadgets at her desk. God Bless you and your family during this difficult time and hold all of those special "Donna" memories close to your heart. God Bless, Linda

Donna was the best aunt a niece could have. She had such a great spirit, the best laugh, warmest heart and she made a damn good scalloped potato dish. One of my memories as a kid was going to Lake Tahoe where Donna did a belly dance performance with sticks of fire. She was always courageous and beautiful. She will be in my heart forever. xoxoxo

Your mom was one of my favorite people here at the Journal. Always
willing to help. If she told you she was going to take care of it, you knew
she would, no doubt. You always knew where you stood with Donna, I
liked that about her. I miss her already!

Donna and I shared many a story about our "wonderful" grandsons. We called each other "Grandma" for that reason. Our grandsons were born around the same time and so are close in age.She will be truly missed by all of us here at APC. She was so friendly and outgoing. My heart goes out to all of you.

I will never forget Mrs. Hardman as my PE teacher even though I hated sports she was always there with her encouragement. She left a lasting impression on all of us!

Mom, still remember our last days together. I am still guided by your values you instilled in me. Anything that is worth anything is worth fighting for, right?

Thank you for being a great mother.

Love you forever.

Halloween costumes

December 29, 2019
Hi Sweetheart,
Halloween was one of your favorite days. You were very creative and made many costumes. I found this picture of a Halloween in Agua Dulce with costumes you made for both of us as M&Ms. I love it because it shows your beauty and happiness! Jason was at the bottom and maybe Jennifer was taking the picture. Picture is in the photos.

Good Times Good Friends Share

Summers at Point Magu. Fishing with your Dad.  The officer's club.  Body surfing at Zuma beach. You getting sun burned.  Going to fellowship on Friday nights then to the Corbin theater. Sneaking out at night when we slept at each others house.  Smoking in the alley.
Your wedding, my wedding.  The first day we met in  1963 when you were walking home from school.  Summers at Shoup Park pool.  Playing at the park, "King of the Mountain".  Riding cardboard down the hill by Shoup Park.  Renting moe-peds.
The Christmas we both got our "leather" coats.  The time you used my Dad's double edge razor and cut the hell out of your leg.  Smoking out of your bathroom window and thinking no one would know.  Going over to your house after school and having rye toast.  Going to guitar lessons with you and your Dad.  Watching you dance.  You were great!!   Joanne driving your Dad's HUDSON to the drive-in with, Sue Erickson, you and I.

Sooo many memories.  I truly miss you.

Love,
Carol
