Far too young to be leaving us. I too was never honored with the privilge of meeting Mrs. Cole but I feel as though I knew her from the many experssions of Love from Steven about his Mom on so many occasions. It is a tribute to a life to be loved so deeply. To Steven, Amy and Madison all our love, our thoughts and our prayers go out to you.

I met Donna when she first arrived to San Antonio to work at Wilford Hall Medical Center. She was a truly dynamic personality. Lots of love, energy, and caring. I am so thankful to have had the privlege to work with her. She spoke fondly of her sons and their love and concern for her. She will be missed by all.

My Beloved Steven, I was deeply sadden when I heard of your mother's passing. When God takes something from your grasp, he is not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive His love. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you. You are loved and will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Mrs. Cole on night shifts at WHMC and at SAMMC. She was such a caring person. I especially admired her enthusiasm and energy in continuing to work through her years. She spoke highly of her overseas experience and her plans to visit many friends in Europe when she retires. I am deeply saddened about her passing. Please know my prayers are with you and your family.

Steven, I'm so happy I got the opportunity to meet your Mom. It was very obvious how proud she was of you and how much she loved you and your family. It was also very obvious how much you loved her. It showed just by the way you looked at her and spoke about her. What a blessing to have such a wonderful mother and for her such an amazing son. I'm here for you & your family. Love you

l was only fortunate enough to meet Mrs. Cole briefly. But the measure of a mother can be found in the character of her children, and by that standard alone I can say she has done well by the world.
As a nurse, Mrs. Cole touched lives directly, but even now her good deeds will continue through the legacy of her children.

Steven,
Words are so inadequate at a time like this. I can't think of a single word, phrase or sentence that will convey the depth of my sympathy. There's nothing I can do but pray that God continues to shower His Grace on you and your family.

I only knew your mother for a short time (7 months at SAMMC) but she was a very live spirited lady. Always smiling and willing to help others.. She was proud of her family and her accomplishments numerous. She was so looking forward to retirement this month. God must need her for bigger plans. Peace be with you and your families .
