Dear mother,
I cannot believe it’s been six years since we were last together. I miss everything about you, and I know you are at peace, and with our Heavenly Father, but it’s still hard not to have you here on this earth. I miss your voice, your contagious smile, your gentle touch of affection, and the unconditional love you gave to us all. Thank you for every life lesson, and for shaping me to be the man that I am today. I give thanks to you and to God for all of my blessings. I miss you and love you, and I am grateful for the time we shared together in Italy - we had so much fun, and I truly treasure my memories! Happy birthday mom - love for ever!!!

For years I did a random search every few months for my dear friend Donna with whom I lost touch. I found her here last week. I miss her as much in death as I did in life. My grief must pale beside that of Steven and Jarrett and their families. My thoughts are with you all . I will hold all my fond memories close. Love you Donna.

Steven, I worked with your mom in Vicenza. She enjoyed travel and loved Germany. She always had a look of mischief in her eyes. She loved you and was so proud of all you have accomplished. She was also proud of Madison and was looking forward to spending more time with her when she left Europe to return to the US. Praying for your family!

My heart breaks of this news. Ms Donna was one of my fellow night shifters at LRMC. 3 great years spent with her. We still use the furniture we bought from her all those years ago! Ms Donna leaves behind so many great memories and funny stories :-) The hilarious things she would say to patients is still talked about by many of us LRMC nurses. She will truly be missed! Love you Donna

Steven & Jared: Please accept our sympathy for your loss and know you are in our thoughts. We lived next door to Donna in Germany for several years and she taught us much of what we know about antiques. She had a true zest for life and family and will be greatly missed. She was very proud of both her sons. - Kathy & Mike Hoefer

I worked with Donna in Itlay for three years. We spent many night shifts together and what I mostly remember from these nights is her talking about her sons. She had endless stories about her children. It made it clear as day how much she really loved and missed them. The news of her death make me very sad. May she rest in peace my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Steven and Jared,
I worked with Donna in Landstuhl Germany and lived down the street from her. She was a great friend to both my husband and I. She was an amazing nurse, but a very sprecial person. She had an incredible heart and was like a mom to many of the young soldiers. She spoke often of the two of you with love and pride. My condolenses to you.
