Dear Barbara,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I know you and the family will miss Doug dearly but rest in the hope that he is in heaven rejoicing and is with other loved ones who have gone before and he isn't suffering anymore. He went through so much and you were right there with him by his side every step of the way. The love you two had for each other definitely showed in your faces and the life you lived. Please reflect on the good times and know his spirit is with you. God bless you.

I remember as a kid I would go over to Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Bert's house with my mom and dad (Terry and Connie). Doug would be playing his drums and Denise would be twirling her baton. It was pretty wild but always a lot of fun. Miss those days. Saw Doug play a couple of times years later. He was amazing. He will be missed but always loved.
