Dear Family and Friends

Both Wendy and I have been thinking about you these past few days. It is difficult to imagine the pain and grief that you must be feeling at such a troubled time.

I'm sure you would agree that at times like this prayer can provide enormous comfort. Philippines 4:7 says 'the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus'. Throwing our troubles and pain on God and his son can give us peace of mind and great comfort.

Although I never new Doyin each time I visit the grave side I feel that I did.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Doyin, your life summarizes the stanzas of the famous Hymn titled “Happiness is the Lord”. You were an epitome of a happy young lady who knew the savior, lived a life that lies within His favor and exhibited great fruits of the spirit. You were an incurable life-style soul winner, a dedicated worker in God’s vineyard and an exemplar in your sphere of influence, particularly the God’s Kingdom.
We have wrestled, and still wrestling, with why you had to leave too soon but we realized that you finished your God-ordained assignment and that God’s love outweighs our love for you. We will always remember the great legacy a young lady of your age left. We pray that this legacy will keep having ripple effects, especially amongst the generations to come.
We remember you today as we approach the fifth anniversary of your departure to paradise. Continue to rest in perfect peace.
