Going through old papers I stumbled upon a reference written for me by Dr. Nwokorie when I was a senior at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Curious as to his current whereabouts, I Googled his name and found this memorial to him. Reading the tributes confirmed that this truly is the same man! Dr. Nwokorie was certainly one of the best, if not the best teacher I ever had. But beyond that he was a kind, generous man who manifested a true love of life and knowledge. I echo CeCe's words, He "will be here forever in my heart."

Farewell to Thee! But not farewell To all my fondest thoughts of Thee; Within my heart they still shall dwell And they shall cheer and comfort me. Life seems more sweet that Thou didst live And men more true Thou wert one; Nothing is lost that Thou didst give, Nothing destroyed that Thou hast done.

Happy is the man who found Jesus, when his journey on earth is over, his passing is gain. I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Daddy Nwokorie you have moved to a higher place answering the greatest call of all, Peace
