Daddy happened to be one of the first people I related with when I joined the Church. He was in charge of baptism then. I feel in love with him because he was so patient and loving. Always available to encourage us. And ever since, I always look forward to seeing him on Sunday. Am confident that he is with his Lord and may he continue to rest in perfect peace.

TRIBUTE TO DEACON OLADEJO OLAWALE
AN ELDER AT THE GATE
PROVERB 31: 23, “Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land”
I met Daddy Oladejo Olawale in 2006 when I resumed to The Redeemed Christian Church of God Livingstone Assembly as the Area Pastor. At that time the parish was having issues with the Landlord of the property the parish was occupying for worship. Dcn. Oladejo and another elder in the parish approached the landlord themselves and resolved the issue to the favour of the church. This singular and honorable action saved the church from embarrassment and endeared me to this family. “Agba o kin wa loja, kori omo tuntun wo”. Yoruba Proverb
Deacon Oladejo Olawale was a devoted worshiper with his family. He was the minister In charge of Believers’ class at the time we resumed to the parish. As the minister In charge, he participated actively in vigils with students in preparation of their baptism and always followed them to the river on the day of baptism.
He was also the minister In charge of intending to wed (couples preparing for marriage). He was active in those ministries until when he was above 75 years we had to advise him to relinquish the posts.
As member of the elders’ fellowship, he was active in the Parish, Area, Zone and Province level.
Digging Deep teachings by Dcn. Oladejo Olawale were always participatory, experience filled and the congregation look forward to it.
His house is one of our House Fellowship centres and well attended (even by non-redeem members)
Daddy Oladejo Olawale was an elder indeed and in truth.
Every Christmas season, Daddy Oladejo Olawale in company of one of his sons will visit my family with well-bred turkey, wine and other gifts.
Matthew 25: 21, “His Lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things, enter thou into the joy of thy Lord”
Certainly, this is our wish for Dr. Oladejo Olawale. Rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord till resurrection morning.

On Sunday December 30, 2018, we received the news of your call to glory with thanksgiving and hope. This is because you lived a fulfilled life and the assurance that we will one day meet again in heaven.
My family is honoured and privileged to have shared in your last decade on earth, knowing you and sharing in your generous and loving life. Always a source of good advice.
To the Church, you faithfully served and supported in your quiet caring way.
You were a humble man full of love, strength and encouragement to us.
Your life with us will always be remembered.
Goodnight Grandpa !
Rest in peace grandpa !!
You will be missed. !!!

Tribute to Dr. Dejo Olawale
We will all go to our creator, but when the time comes, what will we leave behind?
Dr Olawale has left a good name and well grounded children who will always remember his fatherly love and care.
To his family, he was a gem that cannot be replaced easily.
To us his fellowship members, he was a gentleman to the core. He was diligent in his calling. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

My Sweet Daddy Oladejo Olawale is gone physically but not from our hearts; he loved God, cared about the things of God. Just a smile on his face was
able to heal my heart of its many worries. Daddy was a very caring man and was concerned about the well-being of the people around him.
When I heard of daddy’s demise, my heart broke because I lost my 'gist partner'. Daddy always loves and desired us gisting and discussing kingdom's issues.  Today we rejoice because daddy lived a life worthy of emulation
and I’m sure that his legacy would live on through generations yet unborn.
Till we meet to part no more, goodnight Daddy Oladejo.  Fred Akintunwa

Daddy, Elder and Pastor Olawale would be missed, temporary on this planet earth indeed, because we believed in eternal life, and hope we shall see one another again.
1Thess 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorance, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
Daddy is truly missed. I come in contact with him as a minister of God in RCCG: Livingstone Assembly, he was truly an ambassador of Christ, devoted elder calmly collective, serving the lord Jesus Christ.
Daddy Olawale had done so well that today his son's are minister of God, what a good and enviable legacy!
May your humble gentle soul rest in Christ Jesus, we missed you Sir, and hope to meet with you some day in the presence of God.
God bless the Olawale's family
