LADY UZO AFAM-AZUBIKE (NEE NWASHILI) "Uzim"
We have known each other from school days as young girls. We have remained a family ever since. A woman who has no boundaries in her attachment to people. A woman who does not discriminate whether religious, ethnicity, colour or otherwise. A woman who is bold and fearless to speak the truth with empathy. Philo, I am cold and unable to pull myself together on hearing of your departure without a goodbye. I will not be at your funeral as I am not strong enough to see you lie without a word from you to me. We were a family and I will keep this relationship going with John, Josie the calm and quiet one, my aggy the life wire and Nkechi.
Let me stop and carry on praying for the repose of her gentle soul. Philo, you have fought the fight to a finish. God loves you and so, have a PERFECT REST IN THE LORD!

My Mummy Dr Philomena Ekwuife Isichei
11months after we had Kiki, you were post-surgery but you were still worried about who would look after Kiki, as I was going back to work after maternity leave. You were always thinking about your kids, adopted kids, including those in your circle and those not in your circle. Nnem Oma we miss you terribly. It brings tears to my eyes that you are no more here but you are in a better place with Jesus.
Continue to rest in peace mummy, we love you loads. Love your darling daughter, Jossy
When the Lord called you home, He left a gift of memories in exchange.
I will always remember how you took care of my son, allowing me time to attend evening classes for my postgraduate studies. You encouraged me and gave me confidence that my son will be fine with you. You took care of him until I completed my programme. That was a beautiful memory that we will never forget.
I pray that your children and those who loved you will hold on to numerous beautiful memories, and let them guide us during this time of sadness.
May your beautiful soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.
Tessy and Chidi
