It was an honor to know Talmadge Williams and have him serve for many years on the Board of Directors of Vanguard Services ( now Phoenix House). As the Executive Director of this organization now and during his tenure I spent much time with Talmadge ensuring that the Virginia clients we served with alcohol and drug problems were treated in a timely and effective manner. He contributed to our mission in a significant manner and we will miss him. Debby Taylor
