Her Life
January 3, 2013

Sister Easter Green Freeman was born to the late Mr. John Boyd Green and Mrs. Heflin Crowder Green on March 27, 1937 in Franklin, GA. God summoned for his Angel on December 31, 2012, and she answered his call. Her Husband James Allen Freeman, son Donald B. Freeman, and three sisters Hazel Albert, Johnnie Mae Dozier, and Ruby Kate Gartrell preceded her in death.

Easter was educated in the Atlanta Public School system. She also attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. She was employed and retired from Georgia Regional Hospital in Decatur, GA. She was a faithful member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board for years. She later returned to her hometown where she became an active member of McGee Chapel A.M.E., serving on part of the Missionary Society until her health began to decline. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish with precious memories, two sons; Michael J. Freeman, and Rodney D. Freeman, brothers John B. Green (Earnestine) and Andrew G. Greene (Juanita), and sister Elsie (Tom) Patterson and a host of family and friends.
