I have heard about these two girls my whole life, they were my mothers aunts. I remember my mother saying that they were mentioned in one of her school books. Eda had taken off her coat and put it around her little sister to keep her warm. They were both found huddled together but both perished. They were on their way home from school when the blizzard hit. My grandfather was spared because he was too young to attend school at the time. 

These girls are my Great Great Grandpa's cousins. Can't imagine what they went through.
