Eddie D. Leonard was born February 11, 1936 to the late  Alvin and Willie Mae Leonard of Hissop, Alabama.

He confessed to Christ at an early age and joined the New  Home Missionary Baptist Church also in Hissop, Alabama.

On April 13, 2015 he departed this life at the Coosa Valley  Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama.

He leaves behind: a loving and devoted wife, Louise
Leonard; three daughters, Lue Ann Leonard and Erica Leonard of
Rockford, Alabama, Linda (Reginald) Odum of Sylacauga Alabama;
two sons, Patrick (Joycelyn) Marbury of Alexander City, Alabama,
Eddie (Yolanda) Leonard of Auburn, Alabama; nine Grandchildren,
Analyse, Justin, Princess, Patrice, Chayna, Keebo, Titus, Makayla,
and Malaysia; one living brother, Aaron (Dorothy) Leonard of
St. Louis, Missouri; three sister-in-laws: Annie L. (late Morris) Gray
of Alexander City, Alabama, Mae Bell (late Narvell) Leonard of
Hissop, Alabama and Dorothy (late Herman) Leonard; three
brother-in-laws, Frank Leonard, Archie (Mozell) Leonard, Adolphus
(Joyce) Leonard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives,
and friends.
