Romans 8:38-39.
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"
This memorial website was created to remember our dear Aunty Edith Chineze Garner (nee Ejoh) who made her entrance into this world on the 19th day of April 1956 and became an angel in heaven on March 8, 2019.
Until her death, she was a sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, friend, and over all, A Mother to many.

Words cannot describe the love and impact you had on us. My words, more so limited that I could never do justice to your kind and cheerful heart. What we are left with are pleasant memories of your altruism. Though far apart, I cannot thank you enough for teaching us to love selflessly.
Even though you had many of us looking up to you, none of us ever felt left out. You supported me through my studies and even while I was far away from everyone trying to settle down at the end of the world (down under). You left your doors wide open to all of us...welcoming us with open arms always.
Through frustrating times, there was hardly any doubts of your selfless love. I remember vividly, over four years ago in summer of 2014 during the Brazil world cup. I was out running errands with you while the Super Eagles were playing against Argentina. I was grumpy and frustrated for not being able to watch the game. Yet, the following morning, you would get up at 5 am to accompany me to the airport even though you did not need to do so. Just another way you taught me how important it is to be kind, appreciate family and be grateful to God for the chance to spend time with loved ones.
I will miss you Aunty! We all will miss you! God loves you even more. Adieu!!
Words are scarce but the little we can muster we will.
Your stern stance was reassuring in adversity, and when there were tears, you gave comfort.
To fault you is your penchant to give, you never knew not to give even when you had none.
You brought joy when there were tears, and tears of joy with your magnanimity.
But you always had your heart, which was large and accommodating.
Your satire knew no bounds.
You defied all odds, and unrelenting in your beliefs.
Your scorn was swift and decisive, unblemished and unleashed fury in defense, protection and love towards your own.
To our mother, aunt, sister and angel.
Rest in the Lord.
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall softly on your fields
And until we meet again, May God hold
you in the hollow of his hand
- From Ifeoma Idigo

I keep wishing you were still here!
It is hard to accept that you are no more, but now I have understood nothing lasts for ever.
You touched so many lives positively.
You had a heart of gold. You were a great disciplinarian.
I will miss you dearly but all the memories,i will keep in mind and through them, we will never depart.
Keep resting in the Lord's blossom.
I missed you by 48 hours. If only I had scheduled my trip earlier I would have had the chance to hear your voice one more time or hugged you or just spent time with you.
I cannot question God's ways but to accept it for the best.
Rest well in the bosom of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We love you.
