We went to California for Mikes graduation and stayed with Ed and family.  I was a smoker back then and so was Ed.  So we would go outside and have a smoke together and discuss how much better California was then Michigan, in his opinion. Ed seemed to remember only winter in Michigan.   He LOVED California and his family..that was the only place on earth for him.
