16 years ago today you went Home. I remember it all, from the moment I got picked up from school. My tios looked so sad, they already knew they had to take me and my sister to see you one last time. We went to the hospital and soon after we saw you, you took your last breath. Dad I just can't leave you behind. You are forever a huge part of my life. You are with me every day. Today has always been hard but I know God is giving me strength to keep living each day. I'm going to try hard... really really hard to live life the way you would have wanted me to... happy. I miss you and you know I am always thinking of you. I love you my Angel!

Happy Birthday Dad!!!
I wish I could hug you, I wish I could bake you a cake & eat it with you. But I know one day we will eat our devil squares together again heaven.
You are the one who taught me what it was like to be someone's hero. I am doing my best to help others like you showed me that time we stopped to help a family who had gotten in an accident. I remember you holding that lady's hand asking if there is anything you could do to help. You offered your cell so she could call anybody she needed to. And when we left you told me a hero is someone who gives a helping hand. And that anybody can be a hero, even us. You have impacted my life so much & today I work hard everyday to be somebody's hero, somebody's hope, somebody's friend. Thank you for everything you taught me Dad. I love you!
